Description: For over 50 years this has been a one-family truck. My father bought it new in 1972 and drove it about 12,000 miles over the next 12 years. I inherited it in 1984 and it was my daily driver for 14 years until I bought a new truck in 1998. I drove it periodically over the next 10 years, then gave it to my grandson to work on to give him something challenging to do. I got it back in 2016, then had a complete $9000 engine rebuild done in 2019 by Ed Martin Garage in Riverside, a well-known and highly reputable classic auto restoration shop. I was planning to finish restoring it when I got busy with work and then had some health issues, so now I’m going to sell this classic truck to someone who’ll enjoy it as much as my family has through the years. • 1972 Ford F-250 Custom • 2WD Regular cab • V-8 big block 360 ci rebuilt engine (less than 1000 mi) • 4-on-the-floor manual transmission • 8’ long bed • Power brakes, power steering • Step bumper • Original bench seat in great condition • Original interior paint in great condition • Original exterior color was Forest Green, now is patina • Original side view mirrors were replaced in 1984 with more stable ones • New dual exhaust • Heavy duty leaf springs • Trailer hitch • Some rust on driver’s and passenger’s side floor pan • Original wheels were split-rim, now are regular 8 lug rims • Tires are near new (less than 1000 mi) • New sun visors • Full set of Ford original shop manuals • Clear title • Original sale slip • Assorted new parts including steering wheel, electronic points, glove box, rear view mirror, etc.
